First Arriving Working Fire

At approx. 0345 hrs on July 9th, 2016 North Brunswick Police Dispatch transmitted the General Alarm for a Working fire at 884 Livingston Ave (King Tut Cafe). Patrol officers already on location confirmed smoke showing from the building. Engine 205 with a crew of 6 personnel was first arriving and deployed an 1 3/4 hand line. The Initial crew found a small room and contents fire that was quickly extinguished. Truck Co. 3 , Engine 105, Engine 203 and Engine 3 assisted in overhaul and securing utilities. Chief 200 had Livingston Ave command. All units cleared the scene by 0500 hrs.
