August 31 2016 Update!
Headed by Chief Salzmann, Our new truck committee has been hard at work for over a year now. Working with Wayne Lyons of EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT SALES & SERVICE we have purchased Two new Seagrave apparatus. Both trucks are steadily progressing along the assembly lines at Seagrave Fire Apparatus in Clintonville Wisconsin.
Tower 209, a 105′ Apollo II is starting to resemble a fire truck as the Maurader II cab is now be assembled and welded together. The chassis is being prepared to mount the aerial super structure.All while the 2,000 GPM pump housing is being framed.Delivery is scheduled December 2016.
Meanwhile our new Seagrave Maurader II 750/1750 GPM Pumper is nearing 90% completion. This pumper will be replacing our current Engine 203, a 2001 Salisbury 1500 GPM pumper.
